Welcome to Buffalo Bob's website.

THIS WEBSITE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTTION, PLEASE BE PATIENT

We all remember the old gas stations/service stations of the past. They are an important part of automotive history.

My website is dedicated to the classic old gas station of the past. The days before convenience stores with gas pumps became the norm. I will post photos of old gas stations, memorabilia, and anything that relates to old gas stations. I hope to make my website a source for stories and memories.

If you would like to contact me with comments, or contributions please contact me via E-mail at buffalobob666@aol.com I will publish everything of any value on the website.

I always welcome photos of old gas stations that I can recreate in glass. if you can find stations pictures of the outsides are good, and very welcome, but if you can send photos showing the floor plan and any other details, I would be eternally grateful and will be sure to credit it to you.

 What are GLASSTATIONS ?

They are constructed entirely of Glass and mirror glass strips that are all handcut . Signs and logos are hand engraved and colored.

Each station is based on a photo and each floor plan is as accurate as I can make it. The scale is roughly based on 1/4 inch (to the foot)

Each Glasstation is hand built from my own designs based on a photo or picture. As a craftsman I believe in taking care that each Glasstation is built with Care and Quality and is worthy of being called an Original collectable. You can proudly display a glasstation that was hand built by an American who worked in service stations and still remembers that service and doing quality work does matter.

I would be honored if you consider my Glasstations something you would like to collect.

Each has it's own identity plaque that is signed and numbered.Glasstations are a perfect gift for auto enthusiasts of all ages (adults over 18) but have special significance to the Baby Boomers because they remember times when an attendant filled your gas tank, wiped your window, and offered to check your oil for gas that was .25-.30 cent per gallon. Service stations changed your oil, tuned up your car, and in general took care of car maintenance right in your neighborhood.
Glasstations are a great collectable. Because each one is handmade they are limited. At present there are seven different glasstation models available. More will be added but this is the first series available.

Please visit our "gallery of GLASSTATIONS" with photos and descriptions of each Glasstation available.
